What you get

Scholarship HQ is a digital product: a skill package (configuration files: written instructions, templates and small scripts) that you upload to your own Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini account, plus video training and help articles at scholarshiphq.app/learn. We deliver it electronically right after purchase. We don't ship anything.

Scholarship HQ is not an app or service we host. We don't run the AI, see your conversations or store your family's information. Your AI provider runs the skill inside your account.

You need your own account with one of those AI services. Their terms apply to your use of them, including their age rules. Claude and Gemini require users to be adults, so a parent or guardian sets Scholarship HQ up and runs it.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding agreement to buy Scholarship HQ. You're responsible for how your household uses it, including any student who uses it with you.

Your license

When you buy Scholarship HQ, you buy a license, not ownership. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the skill package, downloads and training for your own household's scholarship search. Access to the online training is a license that lasts as long as we offer the training, and for at least one year from your purchase. We keep all rights we don't expressly give you. You may not:

• share, resell or post the skill files, training or downloads
• use them to build a competing product
• remove our name or notices from them
• copy, adapt or translate them for anyone outside your household

Your sign-in is for your household. We may turn off access that is shared publicly or resold.

Your information and your student’s

The scholarship tracker and everything in it (your student's details, essays, deadlines and notes) live in your own AI account and your own files. We don't receive or store them. See the Privacy Policy.

What AI can and can’t do

Scholarship HQ gives your AI assistant instructions for researching scholarships and organizing your plan. AI makes mistakes. Scholarship amounts, eligibility rules and deadlines change, and a search can miss awards or include ones that no longer fit. Always confirm details on the scholarship provider's own site before you apply.

Scholarship HQ is designed so that your student writes every essay. It gives feedback and ideas, never finished essays.

Your responsibilities

• Check every deadline, requirement and amount with the scholarship provider before relying on it.
• Fill out and submit every application yourselves, honestly and on time.
• Follow each scholarship's rules, including any rules about using AI.
• Follow the terms of your AI provider and keep your account secure.
• Decide what information to share with your AI provider. Setup offers a walkthrough of its data settings.

No guaranteed results, no advice

We don't promise that your student will win any scholarship or any amount of money. Results depend on your student, the awards they apply for and the people who choose winners. No one can guarantee a scholarship.

Scholarship HQ is a skill package and training. It is not financial aid, financial, legal, tax or college admissions advice or counseling, and buying it doesn't create an advisory or professional relationship with us. For advice about your family's situation, talk with a school counselor, a financial aid office or another qualified professional.

Payment and refunds

Prices are in U.S. dollars and charged once. There's no subscription. We add sales tax where the law requires it. Your card statement shows the charge as IF POSSIBLE, our business name. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: 7 days, no questions asked. A refund ends your license and your access.

If you have a problem with a charge, please email us first. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead, we may suspend access while the dispute is open.

Not affiliated

Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, ChatGPT of OpenAI, and Gemini of Google. Scholarship HQ is an independent product and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Those services can change their features at any time. We'll update Scholarship HQ when we reasonably can, but we can't promise it will keep working with every future change.

Disclaimers and limits

Scholarship HQ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't control your AI provider and aren't responsible for its outages, changes, outputs or handling of your information. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on what Scholarship HQ shows you. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Scholarship HQ. Some states don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Your promise to us

If you use Scholarship HQ in a way that breaks these terms or the law, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

Ending access

We may suspend access if you break these terms. You can stop using Scholarship HQ at any time. Sections that should last after access ends (license limits, disclaimers, limits of liability, governing law) still apply.

Governing law and disputes

Ohio law governs these terms. Please email support@scholarshiphq.app first so we can try to fix any problem directly. If we can't, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Ashland County, Ohio, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual basis and not as part of a class action. Small claims court remains available for claims that qualify.

The rest

• Whole agreement: these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about Scholarship HQ.
• Severability: if a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• No waiver: if we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
• Assignment: you can't transfer these terms or your license. We may transfer them with our business.
• Electronic notices: you agree to receive receipts and notices by email and on this site.
• Things beyond our control: we aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can't reasonably control, including outages at our providers or your AI provider.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to purchases made after that date.
